I teach one-to-one and small group classes in the comfort of your home or in private venues and studios around London.
The main focus of my classes is on the breath and how to make it flow gently in and out of your body.
Breathing should be deep and effortless, allowing you to feel relaxed but also awake and focused.
Yoga postures (asanas, bandhas and mudras) are used to remove blockages and prepare the body to be able to sustain the correct breathing. Specific asanas and kryas have been proved to help also with some medical conditions.
Every person is unique and can benefit from a specific combination of one or more of these ‘tools’ in order to re-establish the natural healthy flow of the breath in the body.
In order to do so, I build a path using techniques from different yoga and meditation traditions.
My teachings are the result of almost 15 years of practice of Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Mindfulness, Zen Meditation and Mysore Ashtanga Yoga, and I pick the most appropriate asanas and pranayama techniques for you from each one of them.
This journey is centered on allowing you to deal better with both everyday stress and long-term well-being.
Learning to manage your breath will allow you to be able to direct the stream of your thoughts and emotions, and your internal dynamics.
It will also help you develop a better relationship with yourself and others.
I can also provide suggestions about good reads on yoga philosophy and to know a bit more about yoga from a theoretical point of view.
